THE UNFORGETTABLE BARBARA ORBISON

I have not been able to write about this until now, as it is a big loss for myself, my family, and people all over the world. Barbara Orbison passed away on December 6th. Barbara was an intensely inspirational woman, and has done a great deal for me in my music and personal life. She has always taken full care of me in Nashville, TN...where I have penned most of my current songs with her writers. My song "So I Fall" I wrote with Liz Rose, the incredible writer she mentions in this video...Liz did in fact win the Grammy for Taylor this last year. Barbara came to many of my concerts, and included my Roy Orbison cover song on his tribute album. (available on iTunes...http://itunes.apple.com/us/album/not-alone-anymore/id312549518?i=312549752)

Aside from work, Barbara and I had many beautiful talks about very personal issues, and she was a great help to me in making sense of my own young mind. I know I am still not fully recovered from the pain of losing her this week, and so this post is rather short. But I wanted to share this video...a lesson to us all to DO EVERYTHING THAT'S IN OUR HEART...BECAUSE WE CAN.
